The App performs the following technical operations locally on your device:

Local IP Address Detection:

  • Your device's local network IP address is detected using standard iOS/tvOS networking APIs

  • This information is displayed only within the App interface

  • No local IP information is transmitted outside your device

Public IP Address Retrieval:

  • When you request your public IP address, the App makes HTTPS requests to third-party services

  • These services (api.ipify.org, icanhazip.com, ipecho.net) return only your public IP address

  • We do not control these third-party services and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies

  • No additional data is sent to these services beyond the standard HTTP request

How We Use Information

Since we do not collect personal information, we do not use, process, or analyze any personal data. The App functions entirely locally on your device to:

  • Display your local network IP address

  • Retrieve and display your public IP address upon request

  • Provide a user interface for network information viewing

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties because we do not collect any information to share.

The only external communication occurs when you choose to refresh your public IP address, which involves standard HTTPS requests to public IP detection services. These requests contain no personal information beyond what is inherent in any internet request (such as your IP address, which is the information being requested).

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services solely for public IP address detection:

  • api.ipify.org - IP address detection service

  • icanhazip.com - IP address detection service

  • ipecho.net - IP address detection service

These services are contacted only when you actively request a public IP address refresh. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these services:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.

Data Security
