# Notes TV: Notes and Message Boards for Apple TV

## What you can do

* Add, edit and reorder individual lines.
* Pin important notes and search your collection.
* Choose light or dark appearance.
* Lock the interface against accidental editing.
* Display a line as text, a QR code or an image when it contains a valid image URL.

## Before you start

Lock Mode prevents accidental editing; it is not a claim of password protection.

## Set up a message board

1. Create a note and add the lines you want to display.
2. Edit or reorder lines with your remote, and pin important notes for quick access.
3. Choose light or dark appearance and use Lock Mode to prevent accidental editing while the note is displayed.

## Common questions

### Can I write and edit notes with the Siri Remote?

Yes. Notes TV supports adding, editing and reordering individual lines using your remote.

### Can I show a QR code or an image?

Open a line's display options to show its text as a QR code. A valid image URL can also be displayed as an image. Use Show Text to return to the text view.

### Does Lock Mode password-protect my notes?

No. Lock Mode prevents accidental editing; it is not password protection.

### Do notes sync to my iPhone?

The app is designed around notes stored on your Apple TV. This page does not claim cross-device synchronization.
