Terms of Use
Welcome to TV Browser for Reddit ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using TV Browser for Reddit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
TV Browser for Reddit is an unofficial, third-party application that acts as a client/viewer for accessing public content available on Reddit. The App is designed primarily to provide a rich media viewing experience of public user-generated content for Apple TV, iOS, and visionOS.
We do not host, store, or create the content displayed through the App. All content is fetched directly and dynamically via Reddit's public API.
2. No Affiliation with Reddit Inc.
TV Browser for Reddit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partner to Reddit Inc. "Reddit" and the Reddit logo are registered trademarks of Reddit Inc. Any issues regarding the underlying content should be directed to the content creators or Reddit.
3. User-Generated Content & Zero Tolerance Policy
Because the App functions as a gateway to Reddit, it displays User-Generated Content (UGC).
No Tolerance for Objectionable Content: We have a strict zero-tolerance policy against objectionable content, abuse, and harassment.
Content Moderation: We do not have native, independent control over what is posted by individuals onto Reddit's platform. However, we strictly rely on and defer to Reddit's official community rules and terms.
Reporting & Blocking: If you encounter objectionable content or abusive users, you must use Reddit's official website or application to block the user or report the content. The App provides direct access and guidance to Reddit's official policies.
4. Your Responsibilities
By using this App, you agree that:
You will abide by the Reddit User Agreement and Reddit Content Policy when viewing content.
You understand that browsing certain subreddits may expose you to content that is mature, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, and that accessing such content is at your own risk.
You will not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. TV Browser for Reddit does not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information or usage analytics to our servers. Your preferences (such as pinned subreddits or customized sorting) are saved locally on your device.
Because the App interacts directly with Reddit's API to fetch content, your interactions (such as the subreddits requested to be viewed or your IP address) are subject to the Reddit Privacy Policy. If viewing YouTube content within the App, you are also subject to Google’s Privacy Guidelines.
6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, regarding the operation of the App or the information, content, or materials included in the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or any content accessed through it. We are not responsible for interrupted access to the API, Reddit service downtime, or content removal by Reddit moderators.
7. Changes to these Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted within the App or updated in the public repository for the App. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Contact Us
